Cameron Angus studied classical music composition and classical guitar at Napier University, Edinburgh, under Scottish composer John Mcleod (CBE); graduating with an L.R.S.M (Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music) and two Associateships of the London Schools of Music (A.L.C.M): one in composition and one in performance.
Later he studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (R.S.A.M.D) under composers Sir James Macmillan (CBE) and John Maxwell Geddes, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in music (B.A Mus).
After spending a year touring in Lanzarote as one half of classical guitar duo ‘CrossCulture’ (with fellow guitarist Joe McGowan), Cameron moved to Athens, Greece at the start of the millennium with his wife and two girls.
It was here that he first realised the power of Nutritional Therapy when a duodoenal ulcer that had troubled him for 13 years vanished after a few weeks of eating fatty pork and cream (along with small green salads of local Greek produce) after hearing about the ketogenic diet used by the late Dr. Atkins.
This lead to a decade of exploring health-related issues, dietary experiments and research into the historic use of fat-based diets (and their power to restore and heal), with Dr. Kwasniewski of Poland as his alma mater (Kwasniewski has pioneered the high fat / low-carbohydrate diet in his native country since the 1960s i.e before Dr Atkins)
Later, he discovered the German New Medicine (GNM) of Dr. Ryke Geerd Hamer, which states that all sickness and disease (ruling out poisoning and mechanical damage) is caused by unexpected and traumatic life events which activate a biological program for the benefit and survival of the host
He later fully incorporated these findings into his practice after confirming Hamer’s discoveries in 100% of cases of sickness in his own life as well as in the lives of his clients.
After three years of study at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London, he graduated as a qualified Nutritional Therapist.
Cameron lives with his wife and daughters in Bournemouth, England, from where he works as a Nutritional Therapist.
